AttendX turns your existing IP cameras - or ones we install - into a passive attendance system. Employees walk past an entrance or through a designated area, and the system silently recognizes them and logs their presence. No kiosks. No queues. No tapping. No app. Just people doing their jobs while attendance happens in the background.
Entrance camera · multiple employees auto-recognized as they walk past
The Problem
Biometric fingerprint queues at 9 AM. Employees forgetting their cards. Field staff "marking themselves present" from home on a mobile app. Visitors jamming the kiosk. Supervisors manually approving missed punches every month. Every legacy attendance system - fingerprint, RFID, app, kiosk - makes attendance a task that your people have to consciously perform. AttendX makes it ambient: cameras you probably already have, recognizing people who are simply walking past.
0
touches, taps, cards, or apps - employees literally do nothing but walk in.
100%
of entry events captured automatically - no "forgot my card" disputes.
Hours
to deploy on existing CCTV infrastructure - not weeks of hardware installation.
Core Capabilities
AttendX is an attendance engine, not a hardware lock-in. Your IP cameras feed it; your HRMS consumes its logs.
Employees walk past. The system recognizes them. That's the whole workflow.
AttendX continuously analyzes the video feed from entry cameras, recognizes registered employees as they move through the frame, and logs the event with timestamp and location. No one stops, looks up, or interacts with anything. A person walking to their desk is the only action required.
Entrance flow · 3 employees walking past, each tracked with name tag
Your CCTV infrastructure is already most of the deployment.
If you have IP cameras at your entrances, corridors, or shopfloor zones, AttendX can use them. We support standard RTSP, ONVIF, and major OEM streams - Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, CP Plus, and others. No need to replace hardware, no need to run parallel wiring. If you don't have cameras where you need coverage, we can supply and install them as part of the deployment.

Define what counts as "entry" - per camera, per site, per shift.
Not every appearance on camera is an attendance event. AttendX lets you draw virtual zones within the camera frame - "this line is the main entrance", "this polygon is the production floor" - and only trigger attendance logging when employees cross the right boundary in the right direction. Precise, configurable, and auditable.
Camera view · entry line + zone polygons
A few reference photos, one time, per employee.
Each employee is enrolled once - with three to five reference photos taken during onboarding. The system generates an encrypted face template that works across lighting conditions, camera angles, spectacles, beards, masks, and normal aging. No re-enrolment unless someone asks for it.
Enrolment flow · photo capture to encrypted template
AttendX generates the log. Your existing systems consume it.
AttendX is not a replacement for your HRMS or payroll system - it's the accurate, zero-friction data source that makes them work better. Every recognition event streams into your existing HR software, attendance tool, or payroll system via pre-built connectors, REST API, or scheduled exports.

One deployment. Every site. Every camera. One unified log.
A large enterprise doesn't have "one entrance" - it has a head office, five regional hubs, eleven factories, and three warehouses. AttendX runs across all of them as a single system, with a unified dashboard, site-level policies, and consolidated attendance records. Edge processing keeps latency low; central aggregation keeps your HR reporting clean.
Multi-site hierarchy · HQ + factories + warehouses feeding one dashboard
Beyond "present or absent" - see patterns your legacy system can't.
Because AttendX captures every entry and exit naturally, you see things that punch-in systems simply miss - time-on-floor per employee, average entry times across a team, late-arrival patterns, zone dwell times, shopfloor utilization. Attendance data stops being a single timestamp and becomes an operational signal.

Passive doesn't mean invasive. Templates, not photos, encrypted at rest.
Video streams are processed on your infrastructure - never sent to a third-party cloud. Only mathematical face templates (not face photos) are stored, encrypted, and scoped to authorized users. Configurable video retention, role-based access control, and DPDP Act-aligned data handling make AttendX safe to deploy even in regulated and union-sensitive environments.
Security architecture · video stays on-prem, encrypted templates
How It Works
We plug into your existing IP cameras via RTSP / ONVIF - or install new ones at entrances that don't have coverage.
A few reference photos per person, imported from your HRMS or captured at onboarding. One-time exercise per employee.
Employees walk in and out through their day. Each crossing of a designated zone generates a logged attendance event.
Events stream into your existing HR / attendance / payroll software in real time or on schedule - your choice.
ROI & Benefits
Employee Friction
Zero
no kiosks, no queues, no cards, no apps, no fingerprints. People just walk in.
Hardware Reuse
80%+
of typical deployments reuse existing CCTV. Incremental cameras only where coverage is missing.
Proxy & Buddy Punching
Eliminated
face + liveness + context makes the common attendance fraud patterns impossible.
HR Reconciliation
-80%
reduction in monthly hours spent on attendance cleanup and dispute resolution.
Deployment
< 2 wks
from contract to live attendance, including HRMS sync and enrolment.
HR System Change
None
keep your current HRMS / payroll / attendance software. AttendX plugs in, doesn't replace.
Pilot Site
We'll connect to a pair of your existing cameras, enrol a test group, and show you live passive attendance flowing into your HRMS - in one afternoon, at one of your sites.
